From yet another of my grandmother’s cookbooks, recently liberated from my mother’s house (trust me, she won’t miss ’em): in the “Far East” section of Cooking ‘Round The World And At Home (1972, Llano Estacado Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, Clovis NM), the single entry for Chinese food is… egg foo young. Ahh.
