Do realize how hard it is to be an ethicist when crap like this keeps happening? I’m already pretty strongly critical of capitalism’s ethical shortcomings, but explaining to people how to do the right thing in a world where it’s so manifestly not done by those in power… *sigh* Okay, I can see that none of you are surprised. Oh well, just a thought.
