Jason at Perfect Sound Forever forwards this terrific article by Janis Ian — yes, that Janis Ian — analyzing the RIAA’s claims against downloading. Wish she’d weighed in on net radio; she’s certainly a clear-sighted critic.
It lasted longer than a lot of marriages, but Yahoo Internet Life is gone now. Which sucks. We had a great deal more to say. (Update: And Keith Kelly is still a Drudge-wannabe piece of s***; the magazine “only” made money within five years of launch, which is kind of terrific.)
